Despite a strong team on paper and multiple thunderous batting performances on the field, Rajasthan Royals (RR) failed miserably in the ongoing IPL 2025. Now, RR fans can get more unthinkable updates about their favorite team, as a key player of the squad hinted at changing his IPL address.
After a bad patch in the initial few matches, Yashasvi Jaiswal picked up his dancing shoes on time and made constant runs at the top for the team. In the later part of the tournament, Jaiswal's team-up with 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi created mayhem in the tournament, but they couldn't flip the fortune for the Royals. After playing all 14 matches in the league stage, they registered only 4 wins and were awarded a total of 8 points, far away from the cut-off point required to qualify for the round of four.
RR team management needs to clear the board and chalk a fresh blueprint for the upcoming season. In terms of performances, Jaiswal should be an automatic choice to stay in the team for another season, but the batter can have some different plans.

The left-handed player, born in Uttar Pradesh, later moved to Mumbai for the sake of his career and said in a social media post, "Thank you, Rajasthan Royals, for everything. Not the season we hoped for, but continue to be grateful for our journey together. On to the next challenge and whatever the future brings, YBJ 64." The same post he shared on his Instagram story with Alex Warren's infamous 'Carry You Home" song.
Jaiswal scored a lot of runs in the IPL 2025 campaign, played 14 matches, and scored 559 runs with an average of 43.00 and a 159.71 strike. In the last 5 IPL games, a couple of 50s also came from his bat.
