Bangladesh Women (BAN-W) will face Pakistan Women (PAK-W) in Match No. 3 of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, on Thursday, October 2 at 3:00 PM IST. India and Sri Lanka are jointly hosting the World Cup, with Sri Lanka hosting some matches in Colombo.

Bangladesh Women earned qualification to the tournament by winning three out of five matches in the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier. This will be only Bangladesh's second Women's World Cup appearance, following the 2022 tournament, which was their first. In the warm-up matches, they had one washed out against South Africa and an impressive one-run victory against Sri Lanka. The win will give them confidence going into the match.

Moving on, Pakistan Women will play their group-stage fixtures at Colombo, hoping to adjust to familiar conditions quickly. In their warm-up game, they had one abandoned and lost to South Africa. Pakistan under Fatima Sana will be aiming to get their campaign under way, starting with victory, and climb the points table.
