The upcoming WPL 2024 match is set to feature a clash between the UP Warriorz and the Delhi Capitals women, scheduled for Monday, February 26th in Bengaluru. Bengaluru will serve as the venue for the initial 11 matches of the Women’s Premier League 2024, following which Delhi will take over hosting duties for the second phase, including crucial fixtures like the Eliminator and the final.

In their opening encounters, the UP Warriorz faced a defeat against RCB Women, while Delhi suffered a loss to Mumbai Indians women. Notably, Delhi emerged victorious in both encounters against UP in the previous season. Opting for fielding, Delhi Capitals Women have won the toss for this match.

Women’s Premier League: Who said what at the toss?

Alyssa Healy: We would have bowled first, but happy to bat first. There’s no easy contest, there are no weak links in any side. It’s great to see the competition getting stronger and stronger. We just spoke about how we can become better, need to be smarter in our decision making.

Meg Lanning: We are going to bowl, dew might come in. We are coming up against a really good team. There was a lot of good stuff in that game, we are confident coming into this game. Same team, no changes
