In the upcoming match 8 of WPL 2024, UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants are set to clash. Scheduled for Friday, March 1, the confrontation will unfold at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

This marks the inaugural face-off between UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants in WPL 2024. Under the leadership of Alyssa Healy, UP Warriorz suffered a setback in their opening match. Similarly, Beth Mooney’s Gujarat Giants also faced defeat in their initial encounter of WPL 2024. Here’s a brief overview of the head-to-head records between UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants in WPL.

Women’s Premier League: Who said what at the toss?

Mooney: It would be nice if we could put 190 on the board. We have two changes. Laura Wolvaardt comes in for Tahuhu, Veda also misses out and Mannat Kashyap replaces her. You got to be feeling you can win the game no matter what situation are in. It is a long tournament in some ways and shorter in others, hope we get it right tonight.

Healy: We are going to have a bowl. They have all played pretty similar. But chasing looks more comfortable for the teams. Hopefully much of the same, that was the blueprint we want to play. Chamari comes in for Tahlia McGrath.
