The record-breaking performance of India makes them lead

Stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav wrapped up England’s innings at 195, securing India’s win. This victory propelled India’s points percentage from 64.5 to 68.51, as they clinched their sixth win out of nine Tests in this cycle, ultimately winning the series 4-1. Despite a setback in the first Test, India’s remarkable turnaround showcased their dominance, while England faces struggles, languishing in eighth place with seven defeats.

Meanwhile, New Zealand and Australia battle it out for the top spot, with Australia’s recent victory improving their points percentage to 59.09. Looking ahead, India is set to host Bangladesh and New Zealand in a series of five Tests from September to November before concluding their WTC journey with a tour to Australia.
