Yashasvi Jaiswal's private chat on Bumble went viral.

In a short span of his career, Yashasvi Jaiswal has earned massive success with the bat around the globe. In the longest format, the left-handed batter has already smashed 2511 runs in 53 innings at an average of just under 50 and a strike rate of 66 with the help of seven centuries and 13 half-centuries at the best score of unbeaten 214 runs.

Apart from this, in 22 T20I innings, he has collected 723 runs at a strike rate of 164.31 with five fifties and one century. But a new story has gone viral on the southpaw around the social media, which claimed that Jaiswal met a girl on Bumble in 2023 before the IPL when they had a camp in Jaipur. That girl revealed that she didn’t know Jaiswal then.

They shared their ID on Snapchat, which led to the girl seeing Jaiswal’s location, snap story, and the location where the team was staying. She planned to arrange a dinner with the Indian batter in a hotel. They actually wanted to meet the batter with her friends and get autographs.

However, Jaiswal denied at the last moment as they could order food only in the hotel, which failed the girl’s plan. When the girl later messaged Jaiswal after the latter reached his century, the southpaw only repliedokbefore unfollowing her. That was their last conversation. She still keeps following the batter on Snapchat.

After the story went viral on social media, Jaiswal denied using Snapchat at any stage of his career. The batter, who wasn’t a regular member of the ODI format for the national side, featured in the opening game of the three-match series against South Africa in Ranchi. It was a golden chance for him to cement his place in the eleven of the format in Shubman Gill’s absence.

Jaiswal started well with a boundary on the very first ball of the innings, besides pulling the short ball over the fine leg region for a six. But his struggle against the left-arm pacers continued as he got an outside edge into the hands of the wicket-keeper. He will have to have more chances in Raipur and Vizag during the series.
