The entire sports industry was stunned when the news of Hulk Hogan's death arrived on social media platforms. At the age of 71, Hogan died due to cardiac arrest at his home in Florida. Hulk left a legacy behind, which he created for the past few decades.

He was among the first few wrestlers who helped the wrestling industry to go worldwide. With stunning physics and charismatic moves, Hulk became an icon among wrestling fans. His professional wrestling career is mostly known for his work with WWE. Though, Hogan had a brief but effective stint with WCW as well.

Still today, the craze for WWE in India is pretty high. People from different fields paid respect to the legend. Former India international Yuvraj Singh paid his respect to Hulk Hogan through his Instagram story. Yuvraj wrote in his story with a picture of Hulk Hogan that 'Hulkmania' will live forever. Even during his last few days with WWE, as a guest, fans were crazy to see a glimpse of the iconic. 'Hulkmania' is also like a religion for many WWE fans.

WWE, on Thursday, confirmed the demise by stating, "WWE is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. One of pop culture's most iconic figures, Hogan helped bring WWE to global recognition in the 1980s. WWE offers its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans."

From the cricket world, other than Yuvraj Singh, multi-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) mourned the death of WWE legend Hulk Hogan and shared a special social media post with the caption, "Rest in Peace, Brother."
