This list highlights batters from Full Member nations who have recorded the most consecutive ducks in T20I cricket. It includes notable names like Abdullah Shafique and Abhishek Sharma who faced rare batting slumps.

India have played very well in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup so far. But for Abhishek Sharma, the tournament has been very bad. The opener has scored three ducks in a row. He got out for 0 against the USA (0 off 1), Pakistan (0 off 4), and the Netherlands (0 off 3). He is now the first Indian batter to score three straight ducks in one T20 World Cup.
In the match against the Netherlands in Ahmedabad, he tried to hit the first ball for a big shot. He missed the ball and was bowled. Abhishek came into the tournament as the No. 1 ranked T20I batter in the world. He is known for scoring fast runs. But this time, his attacking style has not worked.
In 2026, he has scored five ducks in just eight matches. This equals the record for most ducks in a year by an Indian batter in T20Is. The record was earlier held by Sanju Samson. Even though India have reached the Super 8 stage without losing a match, Abhishek is going through a tough time.In this article, we will share the list of batters with the most consecutive ducks in T20Is (Full Member teams only).

Amir Compares Abhishek Sharma to Saim Ayub
Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir spoke about Abhishek Sharma on the Pakistani show Game on Hai. He compared Abhishek’s poor form to the early struggles of Saim Ayub in the PSL.
Amir said that young batters often face problems at the start of their careers. He explained that good bowlers study their weaknesses and bowl according to that plan.
He said Saim had a similar issue when he first played in the PSL. At that time, Saim was new and played risky shots. Many of his shots were on the leg side, and teams later found his weakness.
Amir said Abhishek is facing the same problem. He said Abhishek wants every ball in his hitting area so he can attack. But in big matches and under pressure, a batter cannot try to hit every ball.
Abhishek is playing his first ICC tournament and has not scored a single run yet. He got out for zero against the USA, Pakistan, and the Netherlands.
