It was the back-of-length seam up delivery, where Tristan Stubbs had an edge, and the wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma comfortably grabbed that opportunity, which was the 100th T20I wicket for Hardik Pandya. With that wicket, Hardik became the third Indian bowler to record 100 T20I wickets.

In the first game of the series, where India won by 101 runs, Jasprit Bumrah completed his 100 T20I wickets and became the second Indian to record 100 T20I wickets. During the Asia Cup 2025 group stage match against Oman, Arshdeep Singh became the first Indian to record 100 T20I wickets.
