Match 25 of the 2022-23 Big Bash League sees Brisbane Heat welcome Sydney Sixers to the Gabba on Sunday evening. Brisbane Heat are bottom of the table after picking up only one win from their first five fixtures. Sydney Sixers have eight points and are level on points with Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder at the top of the table. Brisbane Heat were competitive with both bat and ball in their last match but were unable to get the win over Sydney Thunder. Sydney Sixers are arguably a better team and this will be another tough evening for Heat. Sydney Sixers are in fantastic form and have won recent games by margins of seven wickets, 34 runs and six wickets.

Any score over 165-170 will be very hard to chase down on this pitch. There will be pace in the wicket but also assistance from the pitch for the quick bowlers. It will be cloudy throughout this evening match with the humidity levels growing as the game progresses.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update

With Colin Munro finding some batting form, it makes Brisbane Heat a far more attractive proposition to win this game. However, he will need some of his team-mates to also make significant contributions. Brisbane Heat have not been in good form but there were signs of encouragement in their last match and we expect them to give Sydney Sixers a good game. However, overall it is the Sixers who have the most quality with bat an ball and we are predicting another Sydney Sixers win. Considering the team combination, Sydney Sixers is expected to win this match.
