The second ODI in the India vs Australia series takes place on Sunday afternoon and evening in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. The hosts are 1-0 up after securing a five wicket win in a low-scoring encounter at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday. India were not at their best, particularly in the early part of their innings with the bat in the first ODI. However, they still found a way to win and we expect them to be too strong again in this fixture. Australia will have been very disappointed that they managed to lose Friday’s game after finding themselves in strong positions in both innings. Once again, we expect them to be competitive in this match.
Venue: ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium – Visakhapatnam

The pitch in Vizag may well offer a bit more for the spinners that we saw at the Wankhede Stadium. However, expect the top pace bowlers to still be dangerous on this surface.

Friday’s opening ODI was very entertaining and we could well be in for another exciting game on Sunday. It was India’s greater experience of the conditions with the bat and the ball which meant they got home comfortably in Mumbai. However, there were signs that Australia could certainly cause problems across the rest of the series if Mitchell Marsh gets going with the bat and Mitchell Starc with the ball again. Rohit Sharma will make India a stronger team and we are predicting another win for India in Sunday’s match. Considering the team combination, India is expected to win this match.
