The Strikers will be desperate to get back to winning ways after the start they had. As a team they have some incredible individuals who are putting in the performances but will be looking to sustain their form as they find a way to get back to winning ways against the Hobart Hurricanes.
Date: January 2nd 2023
Time: 1:45 PM IST
Venue: Hobart
The Weather at Hobart is pretty good for the upcoming game.
A flat track at Hobart is expected and batting second will be a better option.
Played- 18 | Hobart Hurricanes -7 | Adelaide Strikers – 11 | No Result- 0 | Tie- 0
D’Arcy Short, Ben McDermott, Matthew Wade, Asif Ali, Tim David, James Neesham, Shadab Khan, Billy Stanlake, Nathan Ellis, Joel Paris, Chris Tremain
Adam Hose, Chris Lynn, Matt Short, Jake Weatherald, Colin de Grandhomme, Harry Nielsen (wk), Thomas Kelly, Rashid Khan, Peter Siddle(C), Cameron Boyce, Henry Thornton
Matthew Wade is in a similar position as Aaron Finch. His T20I future is uncertain but the ongoing season will allow him to understand if he has it in him to continue for a few more years or if his time is up.
Peter Siddle has had a silent tournament so far. He was phenomenal last season but is not able to recreate the same magic this time around. With questions likely to arise on his future, Siddle will want to get back among the wickets in a bid to prevent any doubts on his ability.

The Adelaide Strikers are struggling after a good start. However, with Hobart inconsistent too this could be the best chance for the Strikers to make a fightback on the table.
