After a strong period, Thunder are once again falling. The wins are missing and they need to find a way to arrest the ongoing slide. They are only two points behind Renegades and a strong win here can push them to the top four.
Date: January 19th 2022
Time: 1:45 PM IST
Venue: Canberra
The Weather at Canberra is pretty good for the upcoming game.
A flat track at Canberra is expected and batting second will be a better option.
Played- 16 | Melbourne Renegades -10 | Sydney Thunder – 6 | No Result- 0 | Tie- 0
Aaron Finch, Martin Guptill, Marcus Harris, Sam Harper, Jonathan Wells, Matt Critchley, Will Sutherland, Ruwantha Kellepotha, Tom Rogers, Kane Richardson, David Moody
David Warner, Baxter Holt, Jason Sangha, Sam Whiteman, Oliver Davies, Ben Cutting, Chris Green, Daniel Sams, Gurindher Sandhu, Brendan Doggett, Usman Qadir
It’s been a good season for Sam Harper. Runs are coming regularly and he has found consistency in a side with some experienced players, allowing him to grow as a cricketer consistently.
With Sangha out, Chris Green has more responsibility on him. He is a pretty talented spinner who has not really got his dues up until now but with the spotlight likely to be on him more he could finally step up and out of the shadows.

Both the Thunder and Renegades had their moments in the ongoing season. Thunder though are sliding fast, but may feel a win is on the way with a playoff spot at stake.
