Thanks to Matt Renshaw, Brisbane Heat are still barely alive in the contest. They now stand a chance of going through but still need a lot to go their way. The Hurricanes too who never looked like they turned up this season managed to produce enough moments of brilliance to ensure they remained in contention.
Date: January 20th, 2023

Venue: Brisbane
The Weather at Brisbane is pretty good for the upcoming game.
A flat track at Brisbane is expected and batting second will be a better option.

Usman Khawaja, Max Bryant, Marnus Labuschagne, Matt Renshaw, Jimmy Peirson, Sam Hain, Jack WIldermuth, Sam Heazlett, Michael Neser, Mitchell Swepson, Mark Steketee
Caleb Jewell, Ben McDermott, Zak Crawley, Matthew Wade, Tim David, Asif Ali, Faheem Ashraf, tom Andrews, Patrick Dooley, Nathan Ellis, Riley Meredith
Marnus is known as an energetic character who clearly enjoys his time out in the field. As a batter though, he has not cracked T20 Cricket yet. He is a handy spinner, but his main job, batting still needs to be proven, and he will want to prove himself in the upcoming BBL Stint.
Riley Meredith has been improving well this season. He is producing some nice early spells with his rapid pace and has started working on his line and length nicely. His control is getting a lot better as one of Australia’s faster bowlers continues to grow.

Brisbane looked a different side in their previous game and that could be the start of a last minute turn around to help them get into the top four.
