The Sydney Thunder are off to as bad a start as it can get. 15 is all they could manage as they were bowled out before the powerplay ended, leading to a lot of discussions and laughs about the teams performance. With Sydney Thunder likely to be really low on confidence following a dismal performance, Melbourne Renegades may be able to relax a little more ahead of the encounter.
Date: December 18th 2022
Time: 1:45 PM IST
Venue: Docklands Stadium, Melbourne
The Weather at Melbourne is pretty good for the upcoming game.
A flat track at Melbourne is expected and batting second will be a better option.
Played- 15 | Sydney Thunder -6 | Melbourne Renegades- 9 | No Result- 0 | Tie- 0
Alex Hales, Rilee Roussow, Jason Sangha, Sam Whiteman, Oliver Davies, Ben Cutting, Chris Green, Daniel Sams, Tanveer Sangha, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Usman Qadir
Aaron Finch, Martin Guptill, Nic Maddinson, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Andre Russell, Will Sutherland, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Kane Richardson, Jack Prestwidge, Akeal Hossein
Last season Tanveer Sangha was a break through bowler. He did a very good job, took a handful of wickets with his spin and was really tough to get away. With his spin, Sangha will continue to be a huge threat.
The Melbourne Renegades are full of players with some nice credentials, but poor form. Andre Russell is another one to the list. His abilities with both bat and ball are well known, but his impact in the last few months has been minimal, which is something he would like to change now.

The Melbourne Renegades are favorites despite both teams getting off to good starts, given the form and star power in the Adelaide side.
