The Final leg of World Cup prep comes in with Australia getting an eye on the conditions. They have a chance to test Steve Smith and Pat Cummins who return from injuries. India are resting few seniors here and have a chance to see if Ravichandran Ashwin or Washington Sundar can make the Final cut.
Date: September 22nd, 2023
Time: 1:30 PM IST
Venue: Mohali
The weather looks pretty clear for the upcoming fixture.
Mohali tends to be a high-scoring ground with a lot of strike rotation thanks to the large outfield. Batting first would be a better option unless Dew plays a part in the second half.

Ravindra Jadeja
The runs have dried up from Ravindra Jadeja. While Jadeja remains an undroppable asset, runs from him are crucial with Jadeja often adding valuable runs lower down the order. With three games and the responsibility as vice-captain, Ravindra Jadeja will be hoping to find his batting form again.
Marnus Labuschagne
Travis Head’s injury and Labuschagne’s recent form has opened up an avenue for Marnus to make it back into the World Cup line-up. He has played in India before and could cement the spot with a strong series here.
Australia did well last time they were in India and with a full-strength side they could be favorites again, especially with a World Cup approaching, which tends to bring the best out of the Australian team.
