India eased through the first Test after being challenged on the first day. Bangladesh will however take heart from that first day performance early on and will be looking to find some more confidence. Their bowling has been pretty good so far but their batting is where concerns remain. India too has its share of concerns with the bat particularly around Virat Kohli, who struggled against spin in the previous game.

Venue: Green Park, Kanpur
Rain does seem to be a threat for the Test particularly on days four and five.
Kanpur is likely to be a lot lower and slower than Chepauk. There will be a lot of spin on offer and batting first will be the better choice.

Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant has made his white-ball comeback but the red-ball return is what people will be waiting for. Before the accident it was the longer format which has Rishabh Pant garner more attention with an excellent average and some match-winning performances both at home and overseas. He has proved his fitness and will be eager to get into his best format fast.
Mehidy Hasan Miraj
Mehidy Hasan Miraj has been a key contributor in recent times for Bangladesh. He was in really good form with both bat and ball against Pakistan, bringing out some historical performances and he will be embracing the Indian Challenge very soon.
With more spin on offer for the second Test, India will be backing themselves heavily. They bat deep with Ashwin and Jadeja still going strong both with bat and ball and that will keep them believing at home.
