CSK Vs PBKS, For the first time CSK has lost their first two games in a season and is really struggling with their bowling. While Dwayne Bravo and Pretorious were good, the other bowlers struggled as CSK missed Deepak Chahar’s presence in the powerplay. CSK were also without Jordan and Milne as both had their own injuries.
PBKS are coming in after blowing very hot and then cold. They chased 206 against Bangalore, playing with incredible intent but the same intent led to their downfall in the next game. Against KKR, they lost too many wickets after a good start and ended up with a poor score which led to them losing by a fair margin.

The surface is quick, but the dew factor absolutely negates spin bowlers giving sides batting second an incredible advantage in the CSK Vs PBKS match.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja (capt), MS Dhoni (wk), Dwayne Bravo, Dwaine Pretorious, Adam Milne, Tushar Deshpande/Mukesh Choudhary
Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal (capt), Bhanuka Rajapaksa (wk), Liam Livingstone, Jonny Bairstow, M Shahrukh Khan, Harpreet Brar, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar, Sandeep Sharma, Arshdeep Singh
Ruturaj Gaikwad
Gaikwad has struggled to get a move on in both games, making a solitary run so far, and is far from the form he showed last year. He was off to a similar start though in the previous season, and his runs are very important for CSK as they look to fight the dew factor. With his talent, it’s only a matter of time before Gaikwad makes a statement.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa
Sri Lankan players in the IPL haven’t made too much noise in a while, but Bhanuka Rajapaksa seems to be on to something. In two games, Rajapaksa has made some strong contributions, with a quick cameo in the previous game. He has what he needs in T20 cricket with a powerful striking ability, and is definitely a player to watch out for.
CSK are struggling with their bowling while PBKS looks well balanced. While the toss will play a crucial role in deciding the result, a look at the line-ups gives PBKS a strong edge against the struggling Chennai Super Kings
Today’s match prediction: PBKS will win the match.
