RR vs CSK: Last game in yellow for the likes of MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo? Maybe not, given how the season went. Nevertheless, CSK are approaching their final game of what has been a dismal season for them. They were haunted with injuries, bad performances, and lack of composure in crunch situations, which led them to defeats in two or three matches that could have been won. They go up against the Rajasthan Royals, who are desperate for a win.
The Rajasthan Royals are almost through to the playoffs but the desperation to win could go down to finishing in the top two. A win here seals the top two spot, and allows them to have two bites at the apple. They are in wonderful form, and have a lot of depth and options, so earning a top-two spot could make them strong title contenders given their depth.
Match: RR vs CSK
Date: 20th March 2022
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai
The weather is clear for the RR vs CSK game with no chance of rain.
The surface is dry and likely to take spin as the match progresses. Defending is a good option on the track given the slowness and difficulty for new batters to settle in the pitch.

Team News
Matheesha Pathirana
Matheesha Pathirana impressed in his very first IPL game. He has a slingy action and bought back memories of Lasith Malinga when he dismissed a batter with a slinging yorker off his first ball in the game. He has a nice yorker and decent pace, and could be the overseas bowler CSK is looking for, as they build for next season.
Devdutt Padikkal
Devdutt Padikkal has been pretty consistent this season, especially after being given a fair rope up the order. He is batting with more intent, finding runs with ease and making up for Jos Buttler’s minor lull in form this season.
With CSK inconsistent, and trying new players, they are likely to be short on experience in the upcoming game. Even if CSK give their experienced heads a go, the lack of form from them puts them at a disadvantage against a strong Rajasthan unit who are playing with incredible clarity.
Match Prediction: RR will win the match.
