Date: August 17th, 2023
Time: 4:30 AM IST
Venue: Gros Islet
It will be cloudy and humid throughout this fixture.
The nature of the new ground is uncertain but given the nature of the format, a flat pitch offering a lot of runs could be expected making it better for the side batting second.
Brandon King, Steven Taylor, Shamarh Brooks, Raymon Reifer, Jermaine Blackwood, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Fabien Allen, Hayden Walsh, Chris Green, Ben Cutting
Johnson Charles, Faf Du Plessis, Roston Chase, Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams, Leonardo Julien, Kimani Melius, Roshon Primus, Jeavor Royal, Alzarri Joseph, Peter Hatzgolu
Brandon King
After a good start to his career with the CPL few seasons ago, Brandon King has established himself as an opener for the West Indies. He is still looking for some solid scores, but at the moment is a core member. Now with leadership thrust upon him it will be interesting to see how he goes.
Roston Chase
A couple seasons ago, Roston Chase proved his ability to score and take wickets irrespective off the format. He looked a proper 3 Dimensional player but seems to have mellowed down in the last year, which is something he would like to change with this tournament.
With form players and experience JT come in with an advantage.
