Manchester and Trent Rockets both have had some tough moments with form and rain and will be eager to get out there especially after finding wins in each of their previous games.
Date: August 17th, 2023
Time: 11:00 PM IST
Venue: Nottingham
It will be cloudy and humid throughout this fixture.
The nature of the new ground is uncertain but given the nature of the format, a flat pitch offering a lot of runs could be expected making it better for the side batting second.
Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, Laurie Evans, Paul Walter, Ashton Turner, Jamie Overton, Usama Mir, Tom Hartley, Ben Raine, Josh Little, Josh Tongue
Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Dawid Malan, Sam Haines, Tom Moores, Lewis Gregory, Samit Patel, Daniel Sams, Ish Sodhi, Brad Wheal, Luke Wood
Jos Buttler
Jos Buttler returns to action after the T20 Blast, where he seems to have found some form. His numbers in the IPL prior to that though were not the greatest by his standards and he will be hoping to improve on that now in the Hundred as big crowds await him.
Dawid Malan
Dawid Malan has been a touch silent after his early burst and will be eager to get out in the spotlight with runs for the taking in a format he loves. With a World Cup coming up and spots in the top pretty competitive the tournament will be important for him if he is to try and find himself a position in the World Cup side.
Trent Rockets might fancy themselves here with the way their recent games have gone, especially at the bigger stages of the tournament.
