Shikhar Dhawan stood alone as Punjab played some careless cricket against Hyderabad. They started their season well and Shikhar Dhawan, after doing all the hard work on his own will be hoping his side shows some more professionalism. Gujarat finally lost a game and in the unlikeliest of fashions. Defending 29 in the last over, they conceded five sixes sending them to defeat in the toughest fashions.
Date: April 13th, 2023

Venue: Mohali
The temperatures are rising in Mohali with a warm evening very likely.
The Mohali track is on the flatter side generally, but the large boundaries allow bowlers some cushion. Batting second though, with dew remains a better option.

Shikhar Dhawan
Despite questions over his strike rate, Shikhar Dhawan has shown the value of his role as an anchor as he single-handedly kept Punjab alive with one of the greatest knocks in the IPL. He remains very consistent, and that could help keep Punjab solid from one end.
Sai Sudharshan
Sai Sudharshan, with two innings, is proving to be a pretty strong prospect this IPL. Left-handed, and with the ability to rotate strike effectively with proper cricketing shots, has made him a really good player to watch this season.

Shikhar Dhawan vs Rashid Khan- Dhawan and Rashid, former teammates at SRH have an interesting record against each other. While Rashid Khan seems to have dominated the battle with 4 dismissals, Dhawan has scored runs at a fair clip, which sets up an interesting match-up.
Gujarat Titans remain a strong side and their bowling stats show a lot of promise, leaving them as favorites.
