SRH vs RR: The Sunrisers are in with a new captain and they also have some interesting new players with Harry Brook among players who can add a lot of value to the batting line-up. The impact player rule further makes a huge difference to them with fewer all-rounders on their side. Stubbs and Markram though are out for the first game with national duty.
Last year’s finalists Rajasthan Royals gather once more with more strength in their all-around ability. The upcoming tournament is particularly important for Sanju Samson, who continues to be in and out of the Indian side despite consistently performing in the IPL.
Date: April 2nd, 2023
Time: 3:30 PM IST
Venue: Hyderabad
Warm weather with minimal chances of rain is expected for the game.
The Hyderabad tracks are on the drier side and could take some spin as the game progresses.

Jos Buttler
With three centuries and over 800 runs last season, Jos Buttler was in a league of his own. His form remains solid and the distance he goes this season will be interesting to see, given how he was nearly unstoppable with his batting last season.

Mayank Agarwal vs Yuzvendra Chahal: In the past, Mayank Agarwal has often gone after Yuzvendra Chahal, and has struck well against him, while also giving his wicket away five times. In 41 deliveries, Agarwal has taken 69 runs off Chahal.
The Rajasthan Royals finished as finalists last season with some really good performances. They look very balanced yet again, but on paper, Sunrisers look just as good, and with home advantage, they could take on Rajasthan with more ease this time around.
