Sri Lanka vs Pakistan: Pakistan are on the high of having completed a record chase for them. 2022 in general has been a good year for chasing. Pakistan came close to finishing a world record chase as well against Australia earlier in the year, and made it past a personal high for them in the last Test. In Abdullah Shahfique, they have a new opener who is full of promise.
Sri Lanka are probably gutted after losing such a tight Test match. The bowlers are lacking control, and that is something Sri Lanka are going to have to work on if they are to square the series. Both sides have some changes in there squads. Shaheen Shah Afridi is out to a knee injury. Sri Lanka are without Maheesh Theekshana as Nissanka comes back to the squad.

Sri Lanka are still struggling for consistency despite making strong strides. Having chased a high score, Pakistan will be pretty confident and that should give them an advantage in the Test match.
