Both Sydney and Perth are pretty comfortably placed at the moment. Their last five games has seen them get some good results. There is a tussle going on though with five teams standing on eight points, creating a challenge for the final spots. A win for either side here though will be a significant boost to their chances as they can break to ten and enjoy a period at the top of the table.

Venue: Melbourne Cricket Ground
Clear weather and a nice morning is expected for the game.
Melbourne is likely to be better for the fast bowlers with indications that the pitch is being prepared to boost the pacers in the Test side. Both sides will hence enjoy some nice bounce and carry with batting second a better choice.

The Sri Lankan captain is another player who is handy with both bat and ball. She is full of experience and while she didn't get off to a good start with the bat, her bowling is proving to be pretty useful.
Alana King
Alana King loved the new ball in the previous game. She started off with her leg-spin and looks pretty tough to pick with her subtle variations in pace.
