West Indies vs Bangladesh: The latest Shakib Al Hasan era isn’t off to a bright start. As a captain he is doing a fine job with his bowlers, as the bowlers are continuing to prove that they can bowl overseas. After a win in New Zealand, the bowlers are doing well to prevent the West Indies from getting to unassailable targets. Like the case in South Africa though, it is the batting that is struggling. With Bangladesh bowled out for scores like 100 odd in the first innings, they leave themselves in a tough position from which they cannot win a Test match easily.

Key Players

Kemar Roach

Kemar Roach is one wicket away from 250 Test wickets. His career has reached a legendary status as Kemar Roach is fighting his way through the years. Having started his career in 2009, Kemar Roach has seen the West Indies pace attack change and dwindle over the years. His own pace has come down but that did not stop him from finding success. He is still the spearhead of the attack and is proving so with wonderful performances and a five for in the previous Test.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz

On an uneven track, Mehidy Hasan is doing his part to keep Bangladesh in the series. He prevented the West Indies from going too far ahead in the first Test and is tying the opposition down well with his spin. He is developing into a wonderful bowler with each Test and considering West Indies’s struggle with spin, Miraz will have an even greater role in the upcoming Test.

West Indies vs Bangladesh Match Prediction

The Bangladesh batting line-up is far too inconsistent and likely to be found out again on an uneven track. With the batters failing to fire collectively, West Indies has a great chance at winning again.

Match Prediction: West Indies will win the match
