The battle for the playoffs are heating up. With Bangalore finally winning their previous fixture, they now continue to have a chance at making the next round. Their hopes depend on the upcoming game though as they have a really good opportunity of getting even with Gujarat who are also on four points.
Date: March 18th 2023
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Brabourne
The Weather at Brabourne Stadium is pretty good for the upcoming game.
With short boundaries and a good batting track runs should be easier to come by and batting second will be a better option.
Played- 1 | Royal Challengers Bangalore- 0 | Gujarat Giants- 1
Smriti Mandhana, Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry, Heather Knight, Kanika Ahuja, Richa Ghosh, Indrani Roy, Renuka Singh, Dane Van Nierkerk, Megan Schutt, Preeti Bose
Sophia Dunkley, S Meghana/Ashwani Kumari, Harleen Deol, Ashleigh Gardner, Laura Wolvaardt/Annabel Sutherland, D Hemalatha, Sneh Rana, Sushma Verma, Kim Garth/Georgia Wareham, Tanuja Kanwar, Mansi Joshi/Hurley Gala
With Beth Moony likely to miss out, Sneh Rana will be taking over the reins. She is a pretty composed cricketer and with a chance of leading a side, it will be interesting to see how she reacts to the challenge.
With RCB falling, Ellyse Perry’s experience will come in handy. She is often considered as the superwoman of her side with her ability to pull of breathtaking moments in the field. Now, with a lot on the line, RCB will hope for a saving performance from her.
Royal Challengers finally have a win and the momentum should be enough to get the star studded line-up rolling as they look to climb up the ladder and keep their tournament alive.
