Post the Delhi bomb blast, the Eden Gardens is likely to tighten their security on the request of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) for the opening Test between India and South Africa.

The former selector of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Devang Gandhi, has slammed India's back-up batters, Devdutt Padikkal and Abhimanyu Easwaran, ahead of the two-match home Test series against South Africa.
