Rahmanullah Gurbaz starred in Afghanistan’s chase with a scintillating 42-ball 84, launching a fierce assault during the PowerPlay. He smashed South Africa’s quicks and kept the required rate in check despite wickets falling around him. Lungi Ngidi’s variations and timely strikes from Rabada and Keshav Maharaj kept the contest alive.
