IPL 2026: Top 3 Underrated Steal Deals of the 2026 IPL Mini Auction
From smart buys to bargain signings, discover the top 3 steal deals of the IPL 2026 Mini Auction.
2. Jacob Duffy
Jacob Duffy, a Kiwi quick gun, eventually received his first IPL contract after several fruitless tries in previous auctions. RCB acquired him for ₹2 crore in an Abu Dhabi mini-auction. Duffy is a regular in New Zealand's white-ball setup but has yet to make his IPL debut. However, his ability to swing the ball and bowl disciplined spells makes him a promising addition to RCB's pace attack. With the team's reliable overseas bowler, Josh Hazlewood, having a hectic schedule with The Ashes and other international matches, Duffy can be a viable replacement for the Aussie pacemaster. He is also the second-best T20I bowler, which adds to his already impressive credentials.
