Vaibhav Sooryavanshi may be busy representing India A in Sri Lanka, but his younger brother Aashirwad Sooryavanshi has now grabbed the spotlight back home. The 10-year-old produced a brilliant century in a local match in Bihar and quickly became the talk of cricket circles.

Aashirwad played a fearless innings, scoring 103 runs from just 87 balls at a strike rate of 118.39. During his innings he hit 20 fours and one six, with very good timing and confidence at a very young age.
His century came while representing Cricket Academy Tajpur in Samastipur. Together with Shivam Raj (52), Aashirwad guided the side to 234/4 in 29.5 overs, a challenging target. Vaibhav also shared the scorecard on his Instagram story and congratulated his younger brother for the feat.

The innings soon went viral on social media as the fans even compared the batting technique and confidence to his elder brother Vaibhav. Just 10 years old, Aashirwad has already shown signs of being the next cricketing star from the Sooryavanshi clan.

While Aashirwad was making headlines in Bihar, Vaibhav continued his impressive rise in Indian cricket. The 15-year-old is at present playing for India A in the Tri-Nation Series in Sri Lanka, and he continues to be one of the most promising youngsters in the country.
Vaibhav had a great IPL 2026 campaign for Rajasthan Royals, smashing 776 runs in 16 games with a strike rate of more than 237. He was the highest run-scorer in the tournament and won multiple awards, including the Orange Cap, Most Valuable Player, Emerging Player of the Tournament and Super Striker of the Season.
His remarkable show performances ensured his place in India's T20I squads for the upcoming tours of Ireland and England, and he has also been named for the Asian Games. With Vaibhav set to join the senior national team for the first time, the BCCI has requested his parents to accompany him on the tours. Under-19 star making records for India and Ashirwad scoring centuries in Bihar, the Sooryavanshi family is rapidly emerging as one of the most thrilling cricket stories in the nation.
