After their easy victory against Bangladesh during the second semifinal of the Women’s Asian Games 2026, India reached the final, where they will fight for the Gold Medal for the contest against Sri Lanka in the final, who came into this do-or-die contest on the back of their semifinal victory against the Pakistan side.  

Both the Indian and Sri Lankan women side faced each other a week ago during the Asia Cup final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium where the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side claimed a comfortable victory by 72 runs in their 183-run defence as the opposition were rolled over for just 111 runs.

The India and Sri Lanka women's Asian Games 2026 final will be available to watch in India as the fixture is scheduled to take place on September 22 at 10:30 am Indian Standard Time (IST). Fans can watch the live telecast on the Sony Sports Network, while the online streaming will be on SonyLIV.

Television viewers, to watch the Gold Medal clash between India and Sri Lanka women, will need to turn to the Sony Sports, as the coverage will be available in the different languages on the selected channels. The online viewers will need to get the subscription package.

In the semifinal of the Asian Games 2026, India posted a massive total of 195 runs for the loss of four wickets, thanks to the fine unbeaten 100 from opener Shafali Verma, before bundling out Bangladesh for just 81 runs as Deepti Sharma and Nandini Sharma returned with combined figures of 6/32 in 6.4 overs.
