Kohli's form is the talk of the town in the cricket world the man is losing his charm, once how he used to be and now recent series have demoralised him a lot. You may take the example of the recent Bgt series and ongoing ODI series against England. Kohli has not performed up to his calibre, having just one big score on the second innings of the 1st BGT series but after that, he is merely backward. Even there have been comments that he should retire gracefully and not take any youngster position
Now former Sri Lankan captain Arjun Ranatunga has pinned his comment on these recent scenarios, he says the call for the future should be on his hands and he should make his own path.

Seek The Help Of Seniors
Arjun Ranatunga in his latest interview with the Telegraph depicts that every batsman has a period of golden form where Kohli too was, it's not easy to break the great Sachin Tendulkar ODI record century you need that special type of talent. Let's not forget the period from 2014 to 2019 when every bowler was looking like a bunny before him. You name the bowlers Umar Gul, James Faulkner, Malinga, Starc and Harris Rauf. We all know the caliber of these bowlers but what Virat did was something extraordinary.

I agree he is not in the form he used to be once but his past T20 World Cup scores were good, he is performing but in patches, he is lacking the consistency that he had earlier. For that, he can have a word with his seniors like Gavaskar, and Kapil those greats can rehabilitate him from the phase which he is going on. He is 36 of age and his reflexes might not be the same as his 20s.
India's Champions Trophy matches are 9 days away and this 3 ODI series against England becomes crucial as he skipped the match due to a knee injury and he couldn't do much in the second ODI too. So the third ODI in Cuttack becomes more vital, he is out of confidence once he gets the scoring form no one can stop him. An unnecessary spotlight on him should be avoided as a player he knows what to do and he will be out of this very soon.
