Asia Cup 2025: India’s full match schedule with dates and timings revealed

Finally, after weeks of speculation, the schedule for 17th edition of the Asia Cup 2025 has been announced, much to the excitement of cricket fans across Asia. India was originally announced to host the prestigious tournament. Unfortunately, due to current political tensions, the remaining primary host venues will take place at neutral venues in the UAE, mainly Dubai and Abu Dhabi. India will retain its official hosting rights despite the venue change.

India heads into the 17th edition as the defending champions, having clinched the Asia Cup title in 2023. India defeated Sri Lanka by a massive 10 wickets in the final at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium to clinch their 8th title. Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj was the standout performer in the final, taking a career‑best 6/21 and triggering Sri Lanka’s collapse to just 50 all out, making them the most successful team in the history of the competition. They were unbeaten throughout the 2023 tournament and delivered a series of dominant displays in all departments.

India’s Asia Cup 2025 Schedule

The Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to be played in the T20 format from September 9 to September 28. As per the schedule, Group A comprises India, Pakistan, Oman, and the UAE. Group B, on the other hand, includes the quartet of Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong. with the best two from each group moving on to the Super Four.
