PAK-A vs SL-A: Pitch Report

The pitch at the West End Park Stadium has gotten slower as the tournament has progressed. Eight out of the first 12 matches played were won by chasing teams, proving that the pitch does get easier to bat on later in the game. The average first-innings score is close to 153, indicating competitive totals and not extremely high-scoring contests. Teams batting first will need to put up a good total, while bowlers, especially the spinners, can hope to make use of the slower surface.
