Watch: Australia collapse — 3 wickets for 0 runs in 2 overs | BAN vs AUS 2nd ODI
Australia lose their three wickets with no run on the board after the first two overs during the second ODI of the three-match series against Bangladesh in Dhaka

It was hard to believe on eyes when Australia found themselves three down for zero run on the board in two overs against Bangladesh during the second ODI of the three-match series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. They aimed to earn a win in this contest to square the series after facing an 86-run defeat in the first encounter.
Josh Inglis, on winning the toss, opted to bat first on a surface which was used a couple of days ago. But he had no idea of what was to come in the next half-an-hour as the 2023 ODI champions found themselves in massive trouble.
How did Bangladesh trigger Australia's stunning three-wicket collapse?
On the fourth delivery of the innings, Australia lost their opening batter, Matthew Short, for a four-ball duck. It was a good length delivery from Taskin Ahmed which swing in from outside the off stump. The ball crashed into the off stump with the batter making a very poor judgement of it.

From the other end, the left-arm pacer, Mustafizur Rahman, came into the attack. And he earned the success on the very first delivery. It was a good length delivery outside the off stump, which moved a bit. Cooper Connolly poked at it tentatively without any feet movement and got a nick back to the wicket-keeper.
Mustafizur ended his opening over with another wicket of Matthew Ranshaw. The left-handed bater was rooted on the backfoot with a couple of short delivery and was pushed into the front foot surprisingly to get an outside edge into the hands of the wicket-keeper.
It was Australia’s fourth successive partnership of zero runs. For the very first time in the 50-over games, they lose three wickets for zero runs. It was also the fourth such instance of a team slipping 0/3 in all men’s ODIs.
