Australia Women record 2nd highest total in WC knockouts during IND-W vs AUS-W 2nd Semi-final in Women's Cricket World Cup 2025
Australia Women recorded the second-highest total in the history of knockout stages in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup.

In the second Semi-final of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025, where India Women are hosting the defending champions and seven-time winners Australia Women at Navi Mumbai, Australia Women recorded the second-highest total in the history of knockout stages in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup.
After winning the toss, Australia Women chose to bat first, and they managed to score a big total of 338 runs before getting all out in 49.5 overs. It was the second-highest total in the knockout stages of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, while Australia Women also hold the record total in this list with 356/5 in 50 overs against England Women during the Final of the 2022 edition.

Phoebe Litchfield scored century, Ellyse Perry and Ashleigh Gardner added strong half-centuries
In the latest India Women vs Australia Women match in the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup Semi-final, Aussie opener Phoebe Litchfield scored a memorable century. She scored a 77-ball century, as she had a powerful 155-run partnership for the second wicket with Ellyse Perry. Litchfield scored 119 off 93 balls with 17 fours and three sixes.
Moreover, Perry found her form against India Women as she scored her first 50+ score in the tournament by scoring 77 runs off 88 balls with six fours and two sixes. While Australia Women were losing regular wickets in the latter part of the innings, in-form Ashleigh Gardner played a powerful knock to secure the second-highest total in the knockout stages of the tournament's history. Gardner scored 63 off just 45 balls with four fours and four sixes, as Australia's scoreboard kept moving.
Among the Indian bowlers, Shree Charani (2/49) and Deepti Sharma (2/73) managed to take two wickets each, while three dismissals were run out.
