On the edge of the boundary, Axar Patel and Shivam Dube grabbed a sensational catch to dismiss the England batter, Will Jacks, during the second semifinal against England during the Men's T20 World Cup 2026 in Mumbai.

Axar Patel could have won the player of the match award only because of his fielding during the second semifinal of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 between India and England at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He was excellent in the field, both in stopping the boundaries and grabbing the catches on the boundary line.
One of his craziest catches came when Arshdeep Singh dismissed Will Jacks for 35 runs in 20 balls. It was a wide delivery from the off stump by the left-arm pacer as Arshdeep went for a slash with the ball nearly crossing the boundary rope. Axar Patel came running in and lost the balance without losing the awareness of the cushions.
