The third and final T20I between Bangladesh women and Sri Lanka women will be played on May 1 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka Women have already won the series and will now look to complete a clean sweep. Bangladesh Women, on the other hand, will try to win this last match and avoid a whitewash.

Bangladesh Women have struggled in both matches of the series. In the second T20I, they were chasing 155 but could only manage 134/5 in their 20 overs. Sharmin Akhter was the top scorer with 44 runs. The team struggled with their batting and could not finish the chase. They will now look to improve and end the series with a win.

Sri Lanka Women are playing with great confidence after winning both matches. In the second match, they scored 154/4 and then defended it well. Chamari Athapaththu scored 42 runs, while Harshitha Samarawickrama added 49 runs. Their bowlers also did a good job by keeping the pressure on Bangladesh batters. Another win in this match will give them a clean sweep in the series.

BAN-W vs SL-W: Pitch Report

The Sylhet pitch is expected to offer a balanced contest between bat and ball. In the first innings, batters can play their shots more freely as the pitch is better for batting. The average first innings score is around 145–160. As the game progresses, the pitch gets slower and more conducive to spinners. Pacers can get some help in the power play, but later it becomes difficult for them. Teams batting first have done better in this series, so winning the toss and batting first could be a good choice.
