The Prime Minister of Bangladesh Tarique Rahman expressed his congratulations to the national cricket team who achieved their 2-1 ODI series victory against Pakistan. The hosts won the series when they secured an exciting 11-run victory during the last ODI match which took place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.

The Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the Bangladesh team because they showed determination and teamwork according to their victory message which he sent after the match. The young athletes from Bangladesh showed their national pride through their energetic display on the field.
Rahman issued his congratulatory message about the match because he wanted to show his approval of the young Bangladeshi cricketers who had won their match against Pakistan through their collective effort which enabled them to win by 11 runs and obtain their ODI series victory with a 2-1 score.
The Bangladesh team achieved a successful batting display during their decisive match by scoring 290 runs which they achieved through 50 overs while losing 5 wickets. The opening batter Tanzid Hasan Tamim reached his century mark through a strong innings which he used to maintain total control of the game. The match ended with Towhid Hridoy scoring an important 48 runs from 44 balls which helped Bangladesh reach their target score.

Haris Rauf emerged as Pakistan's leading bowler because he secured three wickets while conceding 52 runs across his 10-over bowling spell. Pakistan's batting proved ineffective during the chase because they lost their players at frequent times throughout the match.
Salman Ali Agha was the lone fighter for the visitors, producing a fighting century to keep Pakistan in the contest. The right-hander scored 106 off 98 balls and stitched useful partnerships with Saad Masood and captain Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Shaheen Afridi attempted a late charge during the final stages by hitting two sixes during the second last over and leaving Pakistan needing 14 runs for victory during the last over. The Bangladesh bowlers maintained their composure and successfully bowled out Pakistan during the last ball of the match, which resulted in a significant win.
The series had been closely contested, with Bangladesh winning the opening ODI and Pakistan bouncing back in the second match. The home team achieved a special accomplishment through their ODI series victory, which marked their second bilateral ODI series win against Pakistan within more than ten years.
