The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has come up with strong support for the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI), the governing body for India men's and women's blind cricket teams.

The BCCI has come up with strong structural support for the men's and women's national cricket teams. Both teams have achieved global successes. While the men's team has celebrated multiple world title successes, the women's team won the inaugural T20 World Cup last year.

In the structural support, the BCCI is ready to provide international travel for two overseas tournaments annually for both teams. Also, the BCCI will set up the accommodation for home and visiting teams when India hosts any bilateral series. Moreover, the BCCI-affiliated stadia and grounds will also be available for the domestic and international matches.

Inclusive growth remains central to our vision for the game: BCCI President

BCCI president Mithun Manhas said, "The achievements of India's visually impaired cricketers are a source of immense pride for the cricketing fraternity. Through this support framework, the BCCI aims to strengthen opportunities, infrastructure, and exposure for these athletes.

"Inclusive growth remains central to our vision for the game. We hope this support will further empower the teams to pursue excellence with confidence and inspire many more to take up the sport. The BCCI remains committed to playing its part in ensuring that cricket continues to be a game for all."
