The two star players of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Dewald Brevis and Noor Ahmad, joined the kids to play cricket ahead of the IPL 2026 clash against LSG.

The Chennai Super Kings, despite making a poor start in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 with three successive defeats, have shown a clinical performance with both bat and ball to have a slim chance of qualifying for the playoffs. It wasn’t the first time such an instance had taken place by the franchise in this competition. Earlier, Sanju Samson played the game with the kids when he was in Kerala, while coaches and a few young players of the franchise, including Gurjapneet Singh and Kartik Sharma, played these cricket games.
In the recent video, Brevis was seen to be playing a one-handed no-look shot, which he has been famous for in his short yet successful cricketing career. The Protea star, who missed the start of the event with an injury, has smashed just 64 runs in four innings of the campaign.
On the other hand, the Afghanistan left-arm spinner picked up 11 wickets in 10 innings at an average of 27.45 and an economy rate of around eight with the best figures of 3/21 in an innings.
CSK prepares for LSG challenge at home
The Lucknow game in the afternoon won’t be easy for the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side, who lost their previous game under the sun at home against the Gujarat Titans. It was a slow surface where their batters failed to adjust to the pace and spin of the track and kept losing wickets regularly.

Having been in sixth position, they can’t afford to drop another game if they aim to get among the top four of the competition. In order to get the playoff ticket, they will need to win at least three games and expect a few results to go their way.
