And he completed the hat-trick with the wicket of Adam Milne as he jumped and punched the air in delight.

Shanaka didn’t stop here and picked his fourth wicket on the fourth delivery, sending back Amshi de Silva for another golden duck in the scorecard. He got down to swipe across the line as the top edge ended into the hands of Shimron Hetmyer. Shanaka ended with 4/26 in four overs.
