Prasidh Krishna took the much-needed wicket in the early hours of Day 4 of the England vs India 5th Test. Dangerous Ben Duckett departed without troubling India too much, thanks to Prasidh Krishna. He got his first wicket of the innings.

Krishna lured the left-handed opener to go for a cover drive. Duckett took the invitation and swung the blade only to fall in a well-set trap. The wicket of Ben Duckett was a perfect execution straight from the blueprint. Captain Shubman Gill protected the slip cordon, and Krishna delivered according to that.

A full-length delivery around the off-stump region, and then some movement. Because of the movement, Krishna was able to get the thick edge. KL Rahul was waiting for his moment at the first slip, and he grabbed the ball with a pair of smooth hands. Team India erupted in joy, as they knew the importance of the wicket.

Krishna struck on time!

The southpaw went back to the pavilion after scoring 54 off 83. England needs 374 runs to win the match and the series as well. And India has to win the match to save the series. As of now, Team India is looking in a comfortable position, nicely settled for a dominating victory. But it will be too early to predict the result of the match, as England has a good amount of batting depth and plenty of time to stick on the track. When Krishna took Ben Duckett, England was on 82.

The green deck of The Oval still has something left to offer the pace bowlers. The touring team will be trying to wrap up the match before prolonging the match to Day 5, the last day.
