Watch: Fakhar Zaman brings up 50-ball century for Lahore Qalandars during PSL 2026
The left-handed opening batter of the Lahore Qalandars, Fakhar Zaman, has celebrated a 50-ball century in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 against the Quetta Gladiators.

Lahore Qalandars came into the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 clash against the Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, being in sixth position in the points table. They needed to win all of their last three encounters to have a chance of qualifying for the playoffs of the competition.
Fakhar Zaman, who missed a few games for the franchise, had enjoyed a decent event with 179 runs in five innings. But his team needed something extraordinary, and he thumped a fine century to keep them ahead in the contest against the Saud Shakeel-led side.

Zaman didn’t make a strong start with the ball being on two off seven balls before he nailed Khalil Ahmed for three boundaries in one over to get the momentum in their favor before taking on Brett Hampton with two sixes and two boundaries on four consecutive deliveries.
The left-handed batter waited for the slow ball against Hasan Nawaz and slashed it past the backward point region for a boundary before celebrating his half-century off just 26 balls as he cut the wide delivery to the left of the point fielder, who failed to get low on the ball.
