Former England great recalls Virat Kohli's favorite moment from the 2021 Test tour
The English cricketer turned commentator recollects Virat's fiery speech during the 2021 Test tour, which inspired India to a famous win in the Lord's Test.

The five-match Test series showdown between India and England has begun, starting with the Headingly Test. The cricketing world holds its breath as it looks forward to seeing the emergence of some never-seen-before stand-out performances. Over the years, the India-England Test series has given rise to some iconic cricketing personalities. The man who had been a true powerhouse and stood out above the rest was none other than Virat Kohli.
Much to the despair of the fans worldwide, India will be without his services for the first time since the 2011 England tour. While his void is unlikely to be filled anytime soon, famous English commentator Nasser Hussain turned the clock back to the 2021 Test series to recollect some of his best cricketing moments.

Nasser Hussain declassifies his favorite Virat Kohli moment
While reflecting on the best moments of the India-England Test rivalry, one moment stood out the most for Hussain. The moment that Hussain was alluding to was India's tour of England in 2021. On the final day of the second Test at Lord's, England were trying to save the Test. With 60 overs left, England were tasked with chasing 272 runs. While most anticipated the outcome of the game to be a draw, Kohli seemed to have other ideas.
During the hurdle, Virat delivered a passionate speech to his bowlers and urged them to show some fighting spirit. The words that he uttered during the team chat still echo today and live rent-free in the hearts of cricket fans: "For 60 overs, they should feel hell."
"I was asked about my favourite India-England moment, historically. There have been so many. It may have not been my favourite, but it is the one that stuck with me the most. In the hurdle that last morning at Lord's when England were trying to chase the score, he was in the hurdle pointing at every Indian player telling them to unleash hell on that England batting lineup for 60 overs."
India's pace bowling attack, comprising Bumrah, Shami, Ishant, and Siraj, drew inspiration from Kohli's fiery speech and took no time in translating those words into action. As a result, the Indian pacers unleashed hell in true sense and decimated England cheaply, winning the game by a monumental margin of 115 runs.
Speaking of the current state of the Headingly Test, India finds itself in a commanding position with their prime batters already unleashing hell on the inexperienced English bowling attack. It won't be long before we see the Indian bowlers take a leaf out of Kohli's book when England get a chance to bat later.
