A milestone innings by former RCB batter. During the USA vs UAE ICC CWC League 2 match, the middle-order batter registered an unbeaten 123-run knock off 125 balls. His innings was laced with eleven 4s and one 6.

We are talking about Milind Kumar, the Delhi-born batter who was once considered one of the exciting batting talents, now playing for the United States of America cricket team, who created a record. With the ton, he became the fastest Associate player to 1,000 ODI runs, doing it in 21 innings, breaking Oman's Aqib Ilyas' record, who did it in 22 innings.

A few years back, Milind Kumar was considered among the top emerging cricketers of Indian cricket. He was bought by Delhi Daredevils in the IPL Season 7 Auction for INR 10 Lakh. Later, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bought him into their squad at his base price of 20 lakhs. During the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, when Kumar drafted from Delhi to Sikkim, he gathered 1331 runs. Because of his dominating batting performance, RCB took a bait on him. Kumar was released by the Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the 2020 IPL auction.

Milind Kumar's record-breaking century

Talking about the USA vs. UAE game, which was held at the Dubai International Stadium, the middle-order batsman scored an unbeaten 123 runs, and the USA got 292 runs on the scoreboard, batting first. With another middle-order batter, Saiteja Mukkamalla, who also bagged a hundred, Milind created a record-breaking partnership for the USA cricket team.

UAE had no match against the top-scoring side. The home team's batting lineup collapsed for only 49 runs. The USA won the game by 243 runs. USA fast bowler Rushil Ugarkar picked up 5 wickets in the match.
