India faced a tough start in the field during the IND vs WI 3rd ODI as Gurnoor Brar dropped an easy catch off Anshul Kamboj's bowling. Gurnoor Brar dropped catch gave John Campbell another chance and left India coach Gautam Gambhir visibly unhappy. Gautam Gambhir angry Gurnoor Brar moment quickly caught attention during the India vs West Indies today clash.

The India vs West Indies 3rd ODI was played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh. India had posted a huge 351/7, with KL Rahul scoring 129*, before West Indies began the chase. Brar's fielding error came early in the innings as India looked for quick wickets.

Gurnoor Brar's costly day: Dropped catch off Anshul Kamboj and a misfield four that left Gambhir fuming

Gurnoor Brar dropped catch happened in the fourth over when Anshul Kamboj got a chance to take his first ODI wicket. John Campbell hit the ball high towards deep backward point, where Gurnoor Brar was ready to take the catch. However, Brar could not hold it and Campbell got a second chance. Gautam Gambhir was clearly unhappy after Gurnoor Brar dropped catch. Cameras showed India head coach looking frustrated and rolling his eyes in the dressing room.

However, Mohammed Siraj soon gave India a breakthrough even after the missed chance. Siraj bowled John Campbell in the very next over with a brilliant delivery that came into the batter and hit the stumps. Campbell was dismissed for 10 off 7 balls.

Brar made another mistake a few balls later. Shai Hope's inside edge went towards him, but he could not stop the ball properly. The ball went through his hands and turned a single into a four. Gurnoor Brar misfield added to his difficult start in the IND vs WI 3rd ODI, while the Gambhir angry video quickly became a talking point among fans.

India post 351/7 as KL Rahul's 129 and Rohit Sharma's 92 put West Indies under pressure

India had already put pressure on West Indies by scoring 351/7 in the first innings. KL Rahul led the charge with a brilliant 129 off 87 balls*, while Rohit Sharma scored 92 off 85 balls and Ruturaj Gaikwad added 57 off 69. Jayden Seales was West Indies' best bowler with 3/62. The fighting total gave India a strong platform in the India West Indies ODI 2026 match.

West Indies started their chase strongly despite losing John Campbell soon after the Gurnoor Brar fielding error. Shai Hope scored 62 off 61 balls, while Amir Jangoo made 67 off 56 balls as West Indies reached 150/1 after 20.3 overs.

Gurnoor Brar’s dropped catch and misfield became a major talking point in the IND vs WI 3rd ODI, while Mohammed Siraj soon dismissed John Campbell. India will now look to finish strongly as West Indies continue their chase of 352.
