Great Khali to play cricket with Indian players and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj? New Cricket League to start on these dates before IPL 2026
A poster has gone viral around the social media as a new cricket league is going to begin on these days ahead of the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with the Great Khali to share field with these players.

Less than a month before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, a new cricket league is going to begin in India during the second week of March, as some of the former legends of Indian cricket and other activists will take part in it.
A poster of it has gone viral around the social media platforms where the picture of the greatest Khali, named Dalip Singh Rana, is put along with the former spin all-rounder of the Blue Brigade, Suresh Raina, the right-arm pacer Mohit Sharma, and the former leg spinner of the side, Piyush Chawla, and others.
In the past, some of the legends of the game have participated in the Road Safety series in the shortest format, including the two skillful and greatest batters, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, while the other players were also part of the series from other countries. Another league, like 'Legends League', was also played among the former players, which gives the fans a chance to meet their superheroes and favorite players of the past era.
Sanatan Premier League (SPL) 2026 to begin on these dates
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is expected to begin on March 26, while the Sanatan Premier League (SPL) will start on March 12 and run till March 15 of the year, as all the games will be played in Indore, which will see amazing excitement among fans of various departments.
Meanwhile, the current focus remains on the Indian side, who, under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, find themselves under massive pressure to qualify in the semifinals of the tournament, despite finishing the campaign as the unbeaten side. But once the pressure came in the Super 8 stage, India crumbled massively against South Africa.
At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India couldn’t make the successful chase of 188 runs and were bundled out for 111 runs before their allotted 20 overs, which has now put them in a position to win both their games of the Super 8 against Zimbabwe and West Indies in Chennai and Kolkata, respectively.
