Ben McDermott, with an aggressive 48 off 24 deliveries, turned the game in Hobart’s favor rapidly during the middle overs. Jake Doran remained unbeaten on 23 to steer the team home.
Dubai Capitals tried to make inroads through their spinners, with Aryaman Varma (1/17), Rohan Mustafa (1/18), and Qais Ahmad (1/22) picking up a wicket each, but the total was never enough to seriously challenge the Hurricanes.
